Beautiful and grand vintage inlaid corner cabinet in mahogany. This nicely made Federal Style Corner Cabinet has so much detail and shows incredible craftsmanship.
In fact, we can identify this vintage inlaid corner cabinet as the work of Biggs Furniture Company with almost absolute certainty. Unfortunately, the corner cabinet does not have the Biggs markings or paper label.
Most likely, this corner cabinet somehow did not get the burned insignia of Biggs Company.
The corner cabinet features two glass doors with glazed glass panels. Inside it has adjustable shelves with plate rail. Also, it has two blind doors on the bottom. Finally, it has an arch and pediment motif on the top. Also, the cabinet features line inlay around the canted edges, top pediment and doors.
On the back, you can clearly see the craftsmanship. It features a beautifully paneled back, obviously an additional expense of time and materials that elevates the corner cabinet’s design.
