Gorgeous vintage sideboard with a striking and eye-catching cross-banded wood veneer across all fronts. This incredible vintage sideboard has a great look and shows beautifully.
Of course, the inlaid buffet has so much detail. Firstly, the sideboard has a serpentine front, with a graceful bow in the front. Additionally, the buffet features six tall spade foot legs. Each deep drawer provides incredible storage for table linens or serving pieces.
Also, the vintage sidboard has beautiful brass hardware.
Inlaid Buffet
Certainly, this buffet caught our eye with the incredible delicate inlay work across the fronts, sides and top. Truly, the crotch mahogany came to life after it was refinished, revealing outstanding grain patterns and beautiful warm wood tones.
The veneer pattern is quite sophisticated, with oval motifs repeated throughout. Additionally, delicate festoons are placed at the tops of each leg. Fine line inlay continues down the tall legs.
We refinished this spectacular piece in order to restore the finish and gleaming brass hardware. It shows very well. We have a key that works for all drawers. That said, there are some divots to the top that show some signs of age and use.
