Age: Circa 1980

Details: Custom Made in Solid Mahogany by a Shippensburg, Pennsylvania Cabinetmaker (unsigned).
Full Wood Bonnet Highboy.
Queen Anne legs, shell carving on the top and bottom drawer.
Comes apart in two pieces for transport.

Condition: Excellent condition, refinished.

Size: 42.5″ wide x 21.5″ deep x 95″ tall

Beautiful solid mahogany two-piece Queen Anne highboy chest. This beautiful and high quality piece was made locally in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, most likely by an Amish or Mennonite tradesman. It has great deep drawers, all dovetailed construction and beautiful shell carving on the top and bottom drawer. The cabriole legs are well sculpted and sturdy, and echo the gently curves of the full bonnet top. This piece demonstrates great craftsmanship and a beautiful new finish brings this piece to life. A truly wonderful piece for any home!
