Antique Secretary Desk

Beautiful antique secretary desk with beautiful cherry wood and tiger maple wood details. This lovely old desk has so much character and beauty!



Of course, the secretary desk is a slant front desk. In other words, it has a large writing surface that extends from hinges, and rests on two maple arms that extend outwards. Inside the desk area, you will find lots of small drawers (eleven in total) and a couple hidden compartments. Additionally, there are two large cubby holes, which are great for loose papers.

Tiger Maple and Cherry Desk

This beautiful antique desk is special because of the Tiger Maple wood featured on the drawers and side columns. Of course, tiger maple patterns are not found in every maple board, so this makes the desk very special.



Additionally, the desk has four graduating drawers beneath the writing surface. The drawers feature beautiful brass hardware. Finally, the desk sits on bun style feet.

Overall, this early desk shows very good condition. However, there are some signs of age and use to the piece, as expected with age.
