Age & Condition: Circa 1950. Original finish. A repair was made to the desk surface. Some light scratches to the interior.

Vintage Maddox Secretary Desk

Vintage Maddox Secretary Desk in mahogany. This beautiful vintage two piece secretary desk has a lovely traditional look and shows nice quality.

The desk has a beautiful fretwork style crown, with broken arch style top and flame-style finial. Also, the desk has a serpentine front in the drawer section. Of course, it has nice bracket feet as well.

On the interior, the desk features several small drawers and cubby holes. Furthermore, the top section features three fixed shelves with plate grove.

Overall, the desk is in good vintage condition (original finish). However, there are some small imperfections to report. The desk surface was repaired at one point. Also, there are some light signs of wear including scratches to the writing surface.

Despite these flaws, the desk shows well and has nice brass hardware. The key functions.
