Age & Condition: Circa 1910-1915 Antique Chairs. Good condition. Likely refinished and restored in recent years. Some signs of age to the frames.

Dimensions: 28″ wide x 21″ deep x 39.5″ tall.
Seats are 19 and 17.5″ tall.

Antique Chairs

Beautiful Antique Chairs with carved backs and upholstered seats. These fabulous parlor chairs have an incredible look and show excellent quality.

Of course, the chairs have intricately carved backs. Additionally, they have unique scroll arms and lovely scrolled feet. Finally, they have been upholstered with a robin’s egg or light teal blue velvet.

Art Nouveau Furniture

As you may know, art nouveau furniture often has sinuous lines and unique scroll work. After all, the Art Nouveau period followed the Victorian furniture period. So, we see the continuing love of ornament in Art Nouveau furniture.

These chairs appear to have been refinished and restored at some point. There appears to be a little bit of dryness to the wood in some spots. Also, one chair has castors, while the second one has had them removed.

Despite these flaws, the chairs show beautifully. The upholstery is in very good condition.

Bohemians Antiques sold this fine pair of Art Nouveau Chairs in March of 2022 for $900. Of course, this price was for the pair of unique antique chairs.
