Item: Vintage Art Deco Cedar Chest.

Age & Condition: Circa 1920- 1930. Good overall condition. Some small chips to the veneer towards the bottom. Lock has been removed.

Dimensions: 45″ wide x 19″ deep x 24.5″ tall art deco furniture.

Vintage Cedar Chest

Beautiful vintage cedar chest with walnut, rosewood veneers. This lovely vintage cedar blanket chest has a great look and has lots of storage.

Of course, the interior features beautiful cedar lining. Also, there is an extra shelf that folds out when the box is opened.

The vintage cedar chest shows good condition. However, you will find some chips that were darkened on the bottom apron. Please see photos.

Additionally, we disabled the lock. Of course, we did not have the key, so to be safe, we took off the lock. However, you can have a key made or use the blanket box without a lock and key. We have included the original lock inside.

Certainly, this cedar chest shows lots of features typical for Art Deco Furniture. For one, the box is decorated with beautiful veneers of walnut and rosewood. Also, it has a rounded top, or waterfall edge. Finally, it has a decorative trim overlay that shows the era’s love of geometry.
