Vintage Chippendale Mirror

Beautiful Vintage Chippendale Mirror in gorgeous mahogany wood. This beautiful traditional style mirror has a very elegant look.

Of course, this scrollwork mirror is mimicing Early Chippendale style from the 17th century. It features delicate cutwork around the frame, in beautiful undulating forms.

Additionally, it features beautiful mahogany veneer that has been book-veneered to give a rich and sumptuous finish. You will also find a beautiful beaded fillet of gold in the inner frame. Finally, it has a beautiful Georgian style carved shell, finished in gold leaf on the top.

Certainly, a mirror of this caliber also features beveled glass.

Scrollwork Mirror

Although unmarked, we believe this mirror to have been made by a high end reproduction company, such as Councill Craftsmen. It has a high level of detail and shows good quality.

Overall, it shows very good condition, with possible minor imperfections to the frame.
