Sligh Cherry Grandfather Clock
The grandfather clock is vintage, maybe from circa 1980-1990, but obviously was well cared for during that time. It features a beveled glass door, beautiful brass pendulum and weights and a terrific face.
Of course, the intricate brass face is the focal point. It has a beautiful filigree style decoration around the clock numbers. Obviously, the lovely moon dial is quite handsome, too.
The clock sounds on the hour and half hour. There are a few different chimes to choose from: Whittington, St. Michael’s or classic Westminster Chimes, as well as a silent option.
The tall case clock is in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of age and use. You may find some very light mars to the cherry case. Also, there is one small issue with the cord that holds the weight, where it appears there is some light wearing to the brass cord. (This flaw doesn’t seem to affect the clock function.) Please see photos.
