Item: Set of Eight Vintage Mahogany Chairs Attributed to Hickory Chair Company.

Age & Condition: Circa 1997. Very good vintage condition. Chair frames are tight and sturdy. May have a few light blemishes to the frames or upholstery.

Dimensions: Side Chairs: 21.5″ wide x 19.5″ deep x 38.5″ tall.
Arm Chairs: 23″ wide x 19.5″ deep x 38.5″ tall.

Hickory Chair Mahogany Dining Chairs

Hickory Chair Mahogany dining chairs in beautiful Chippendale Style. These mahogany dining chairs will be sold as a set and include two arm chairs and six side chairs.

Although unmarked, we have attributed these chairs to high-end maker, Hickory Chair. Most other furniture in the estate was made by Hickory Chair, and both the quality and the design remind us very much of Hickory Chair. (All paper tags unfortunately have been removed.)

The chairs each have a beautiful openwork design down the back and straight legs. The legs are joined in several places by stretchers that help strengthen the chair and support weight. The seats are upholstered in a lovely red damask. The chair frames are heavy and solid.

Overall the chairs are in excellent condition with few signs of age or use. May have a blemish or two and a light stain to some of the seats. Nevertheless the chairs would make a wonderful addition to any formal dining room.
