Antique Mahogany Sideboard by Potthast Brothers

Antique Sideboard by Potthast Brothers in beautiful Federal style. This gorgeous mahogany buffet sideboard is sure to become a focal point in any room.

The Potthast Brothers Furniture Company handcrafted this incredible sideboard in circa 1910-1920. This small workshop style factory specialized in handmade, high-end reproduction furniture and operated out of Baltimore, Maryland. The company operated under their prophetic slogan, creating “The Antiques of Tomorrow.”

Today, many people collect furniture pieces signed “Potthast Furniture.”

This beautiful sideboard buffet features a serpentine front design. Each of the drawers and cabinet doors features an incredible flame mahogany veneer. Additionally, the sideboard has four lovely carved columns which add to the design.

We refinished this buffet in order to bring it back to life. New keys have been made to operate the cabinet doors. Although we cannot be sure, this buffet may have had an original back-splash on top because at some point, someone has filled some holes on the top. However, this small flaw does not detract from the overall beauty of this stunning buffet!
