Antique French Wardrobe

Beautiful carved rococo style mahogany antique French wardrobe from circa 1910. This antique French Wardrobe is just an inch shy of 8 ft and has a large mirrored door. It has short cabriole legs. A key locks the door and allows it to open.

The interior of the antique wardrobe has two adjustable shelves and two small drawers. At the base of the antique wardrobe, one large drawer is concealed by heavy carving.

Of course, like most French furniture, the antique wardrobe has incredible charm and romance. The beautiful carvings and mirrored front make it glamorous and feminine. Indeed, it would find a beautiful home in a master bedroom, bath or hallway. Certainly, it could be used inside a closet as well.

Antique wardrobes provide incredible storage space and style to a home. While builder grade closets are useful, an antique armoire can easily and instantly add character to a period home.

The top bonnet of the wardrobe and the door are removable, making moving the cabinet less onerous. Of course, we offer in-home delivery and assembly to make this process even easier.

This antique armoire has been refinished. Our restoration team excels at preserving the beauty of old antique furniture. This antique wardrobe needed little in the way of repairs but simply looked tired and dingy. With a new finish and protective lacquer coating, this antique wardrobe has incredibly stylish look and Bohemian feel. The deep mahogany color makes this wardrobe very adaptable and classic in the home. It could very easily coordinate with mahogany furniture or deep cherry furniture.
