Age & Condition: Late 1800’s. Good condition, but some small loses to the carvings. Newer paint finish. And some patina on the mirror glass.

Antique Carved Gilded Mirror

Antique Carved gilded mirror with ornate frame. This beautiful tall pier mirror was likely made in circa 1870 and has a nice solid wood carved frame. The frame features carved cupids and rococo detail. Quite stunning and impressive.

This antique mirror has a few flaws that are noticeable upon inspection. Some pieces of the frame are missing. Also, in recent years, the pier mirror was repainted. Finally, there is some dark speckling and age to the glass of the mirror.

However, these signs of age do not detract from the beauty of the piece. This antique carved mirror would certainly feel at home in a historic property.
