Antique Bookcase

Beautiful and rare antique bookcase made in circa 1840. This lovely Empire Bookcase has so many beautiful details and has an incredible design.

Of course, the bookcase features a beautiful glass front and and glass sided case. The glass is overlaid with a beautiful mahogany fretwork design that gives this classical cabinet so much beauty! Inside, the thick mahogany shelves also feature a groove for displaying plates.



Additionally, the Empire Bookcase features two small drawers in the center. Finally, the beautiful antique bookcase features columns on either side. These columns terminate in a beautiful paw foot. Of course, they have a lovely Corinthian style capitals at the top of both columns.

We refinished this beautiful Empire Bookcase Display cabinet in order to restore the rich mahogany wood. It shows beautifully and would be perfect either in a library, dining room or den.



The display cabinet includes two keys, which operate all four locks (on the doors and drawers).
