Beautiful vintage china cabinet in solid cherry wood. This lovely cherry wood breakfront cabinet has a nice traditional design and shows good quality.
Vintage China Cabinet
This vintage china cabinet comes in two pieces. It has a beautiful, classic design. It features a mirror back, two thick glass shelves with plate rail and four beveled glass doors in the front. Also, it has glass panels on the side, which helps to give the illusion of more airiness.
Additionally, the lighting features a dimmer switch (located on the top right side), so you can adjust the brightness of the display.
There is a line of dental molding along the top crown and a pretty Federal style pediment (which can be removed).
On the bottom half of the cabinet, you will find three drawers, each lined with felt (removable inserts). Below the drawers, there are four cabinet doors that open to one roomy storage area. There is also a removable shelf that spans this space.
Cherry Wood Breakfront
Although not marked, the cabinet shows very nice signs of quality and craftsmanship. Firstly, the glass, mirrored back and beveled doors are all of good quality.
Secondly, the cabinet is no doubt crafted of solid domestic cherry wood. The hardware is brass and all drawers are dovetailed. The back of the cabinet is solid wood-ply (believe it or not, some cabinets feature cardboard or pressed wood on the back). Finally, all the hardware is brass.
Overall, the cabinet is in very good condition. You may find some light rubs or minor imperfections, but it shows quite well.
