Vintage Tambour Desk
Beautiful Vintage Tambour DeskFederal Style Tall Bookcase Top Inlaid Tambour Style Desk, Video in mahogany wood. This lovely custom made inlaid desk has so much beautiful detail!
Of course, this desk features a two section design. The top section features the beautiful tambour section, which has a lovely stripe of checkerboard inlay along the leading edge. Additionally, each side of the desk and center door repeat this gorgeous bit of detail. Inside each tambour section, you will find two smaller drawers and small cubbies for organizing your papers.
The bottom half of the desk features a fold out writing surface. This small desk rests on two supporting arms that extend forwards.
Additionally, the desk features four nicely sized drawers with phenomenal ring style hardware. This heavy brass hardware has a Neo-classical yet French twist which really elevates the otherwise simple desk base.
Finally, the desk features a scalloped apron and splayed legs.
Custom Made Inlaid Desk
This lovely Custom made inlaid desk has a really lovely design and has been beautifully executed. Unfortunately, there is no signature of the maker to be found. However, it does show nice signs of quality craftsmanship.
We refinished this desk in order to restore the lovely mahogany. It looks as though someone once tried to add hardware to the tambour section (there are small holes). Otherwise the desk shows well and has a beautiful look!
