Vintage Secretary Desk
This vintage secretary desk features a bookcase top, slant front desk, and drawers. It is all one piece, and has beautiful details. The top bookcase section has two glass doors with Georgian style fretwork in the windows, meant to give the allusion of glazed glass.
There are two adjustable shelves inside the cabinet top.
The slant front has a lovely interior, with a mix of drawers, small cabinet door and nooks and crannies.
Of course, the base features serpentine front drawers and ball and claw feet.
Mahogany Secretary Desk
We refinished this mahogany secretary desk in order to restore the lovely wood. It shows very well and has beautiful rich color. The brass hardware may have some patina.
Colonial Furniture Company was a factory that made lots of lovely reproduction pieces and even took on work from Pennsylvania House Furniture from time to time.
