Statton Bachelor Chest
This nice cherry wood Statton Bachelor Chest has a beautiful design, with a kettle base or bombe shape. The chest has a beautiful curved base. Additionally, it has a scalloped edge top. Finally, it sits on nice bracket feet.
This vintage chest of drawers has nice brass hardware. It is in the original “Oxford” finish by Statton, which is their darkest and richest stain color.

Statton Furniture was definitely known for quality. This Hagerstown, Maryland company made lovely sets and pieces for decades. This particular piece was a Special Edition.
Overall, the chest shows well and is in good condition. There is a small ding to the top, and perhaps a few other light signs of age or use. Please see photos.
