Erhard Schönicke Friesack Painting in beautiful pastel tones. This lovely landscape painting looks to feature a Mediterranean or Greek scene. The painting features a lake surrounded by mountains and cliff-side buildings. It is an oil on canvas in a gilt wood frame.

The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner and dated to 1935.

The painting has suffered a few affects of time: some losses to the paint and some damages to the frame. (Please see photos.) Overall though, it still makes a beautiful statement piece in any home.
