Antique Mahogany Wardrobe
This lovely antique mahogany wardrobe has two main sections that come off the base like integral boxes. The left side of the wardrobe features one deep drawer at the base and a closet bar that we added. The right section features a few shelves and several drawers. So, this lovely large antique armoire really could rival any closet system in terms of organization and storage.
Of course, the double door wardrobe does come apart in pieces. As mentioned, each of the sections comes off the base of the cabinet. Then, the crown can be added and a few central screws to keep the double door wardrobe together.
Double Door Wardrobe
This lovely double door wardrobe has a beautiful mahogany wood on the exterior. Additionally, the lovely curved arches are really lovely, and so appropriate for mid to late 19th century design.
We refinished this wardrobe in order to restore the lovely mahogany wood. The cabinet shows well and functions very nicely. However, the interior of the wardrobe previously had a fabric lining that unfortunately could not be saved. So, we recommend finishing the interior either with a thick wallpaper or fabric of your choice. It could also be left as-is, but please note there is a bit of roughness to the interior wood where the fabric tacks were.
Also, there is a slight warping to the doors, corrected as much as possible and barely noticeable when locked.
