Antique Mahogany Chippendale Secretary Desk

Antique Mahogany Chippendale Secretary Desk with beautiful Tiger Maple Interior. This stunning antique desk has so much charm and beauty!

The desk features a lovely dovetailed case. Of course, the secretary desk has four drawers beneath the writing surface. On either side of the desk are two wooden supports that extend to hold the writing desk.

Inside, we find a truly lovely mix of compartments and small drawers in tiger maple grain stripes.

We refinished the desk, and had to replace all four feet, which were badly damaged and looked cut down. Additionally, we polished the original brass hardware.

The true beauty of the grain on the front of the desk and on the interior really help it shine as an incredibly nice looking piece. Unfortunately, the locks are not functioning well in this desk, so we will not be able to furnish a key with this one. Despite these small flaws, the desk has a great look and could bring so much warmth to any traditional or historic home.
