This Empire style buffet mimics all of the historical elements of the early Empire Period. Of course, immediately noticeable on this antique buffet are the incredible paw feet. The lions paw feet on this empire style buffet recall French imperial furniture of Napoleon’s time. Also featured on this empire style buffet are the beautiful flame mahogany paneled doors. The mahogany wood of this antique buffet has a delightful grain pattern. Of course, it also has ample serving room with the huge surface and wooden trays that extend out of either side.
The antique buffet also has the original swirled glass knobs and a beautifully carved mahogany back-splash. For these reasons, this antique sideboard really makes a statement. It would find a great home in a historic dining room. However, it could certainly work as a bar or centerpiece for a living room.

This sideboard is quite the dramatic statement piece. Our restoration team took quite a few weeks on this antique piece of furniture. Indeed, they were able to bring it back to life! It has a new satin stain. We also took the time to coat it with lacquer to protect this antique sideboard for many years to come.
