Description
Beautiful vintage Tambour Desk has a beautiful design that mimics Federal pieces. The mahogany desk vintage dates to about 1940.
Vintage Tambour Desk
This lovely vintage Tambour Desk actually has faux tambour slats on the front. Instead of a flexible tambour that slides into the cabinet interior, the desk actually has cabinet doors that open outwards.
Inside these compartments, you will find several small drawers and cubby holes, great for organizing paperwork and office supplies.
Additonally, the Federal style desk has a writing surface that flips outwards and is supported by two wooden cabinet arms.
Finally, the desk features two drawers (the bottom two lateral drawers are actually one deep drawer) for storage. It sits on tapered Federal style legs.
Federal Style Desk
This beautiful Federal style desk dates to the 1940s and is a Federal Revival piece. It has nice oval brass hardware and a lovely dark finish. We refinished the desk so that it looks beautiful for your home. It does have a small blush from the lacquer on the desk surface. Please see photos.
