Adorable vintage secretary desk in solid cherry. This unique vintage desk has so much charm and personality!

Vintage Secretary Desk

Of course, the vintage secretary desk features solid cherry wood. It has a drop front desk that automatically brings out two wooden side supports as you rest it down. Additionally, it has four small drawers beneath, for paperwork, cards and stationery.

Inside the desk, you will find five small cubbies and five smaller drawers.

The desk sits on Queen Anne legs and has a lovely decorative apron.

Maddox Furniture

The Maddox Furniture company has a reputation for quality furniture. They were best known for their extensive collection of secretary desks. Most likely, this desk would have been marketed as a “lady’s desk.” However, its petite size is perfect for anyone looking for a functional and attractive desk.

We refinished this desk in order to bring the beautiful cherry wood back to life. We also replaced the hardware with brass Chippendale hardware, since a few were too pitted to be saved.
