This lovely vintage oil painting on canvas has such an inviting scene. The winding country road is quite deeply dug, with tracks of a wagon or horse and buggy. Meanwhile the light of the summer sun illuminates the lush trees.

This oil painting on canvas likely dates to the 1960s or 1970s, but the nostalgic scene could easily fit into the 19th century.

Of course, the painting has an illegible signature, and unfortunately, that makes finding more about the artist quite difficult.

That said, this nice piece of art has a beautiful look, nice frame and would work in any traditional home.
