Potthast Dresser

Beautiful solid mahogany Potthast dresser with mirror. Potthast Furniture Company of Baltimore, Maryland produced this dresser in circa 1930. High quality and very stylish, this Potthast dresser could complete a master bedroom or guest bedroom.

Potthast Furniture

Potthast furniture company found their start in Baltimore Maryland in the late 1800’s. Four German immigrants (and brothers) set forth to produce incredible hand-crafted furniture in their small workshop. Their slogan, “The Antiques of Tomorrow” allowed them to experiment with age-old techniques. Thus, the furniture Potthast Company produced has found devoted collectors all over the country.

Of course, this Potthast dresser shows all the tell-tale signs of quality. Indeed, it has dovetailed drawers. It has beautiful mahogany wood. Additionally, the back of the Potthast dresser has a paneled design. This aids in the strength and quality of the piece. Obviously, this dresser has weight and quality.

Likewise, the stylish proportions of this antique dresser make it quite desirable. This lovely dresser with mirror has a lovely acorn finial top. Also, the Potthast dresser has beautiful Empire Style columns on either side.

Finally, this Potthast dresser has a new finish. While we don’t always refinish our pieces, certain antique dressers need some love. Thus, our restoration team did a fabulous job restoring the antique dresser. It is in beautiful condition and is ready for your home.
