This lovely needlepoint footstool has a unique stick-and-ball design. This late 19th century design was common in moldings, and on furniture in Victorian Cottage design. Here, the design is enhanced with wicker wrapped frame. Also, the footstool has brass capped feet.
Of course, the lovely footstool is also enhanced by the charming and cheerful yellow needlepoint design. The needlework has a very pretty rose, and wildflower design on a warm yellow background. The needlework is in very good shape considering the age.
