Biggs Mahogany Double Bed

Biggs Mahogany double bed in a beautiful traditional Federal style. This four poster bed is made of quality solid mahogany and has been beautifully refinished and restored. Biggs Furniture was an incredible fine furniture manufacturer in Richmond, VA that was later purchased by Kittinger Furniture.

It has four reeded posters and finials that pop off. (The bed is adaptable to have a wooden canopy on top.) The headboard has a traditional middle finial and broken arch.

This bed is especially desirable because the side rails bolt to the headboard and footboard. This makes the bed very strong and tight. Additionally, it has strong metal side brackets that support the bedding. Finally, the headboard and footboard rest on brass capped feet.
