Biggs Mahogany Dining Table with Two Leaves

Biggs Mahogany Dining Table with Two leaves. This lovely solid mahogany dining table has incredible quality and a very nice traditional yet stylish look.

The table is a nice oval with straight Pembroke style legs. While simple, this table exudes elegance and class! Likely, it was made in the 1940’s or 1950’s. However, the style and especially the shape is reminiscent of 18th century dining room furniture.

Biggs Furniture was an incredibly high end Reproduction Furniture Company out of Richmond Virginia. Known for their beautiful Federal style reproductions, Biggs gained a loyal customer base until their last days as a solo company. Subsequently, Kittinger furniture purchased Biggs to craft their Old Dominion line of furniture.

Our restoration team decided to strip and sand the mahogany table and bring back the gorgeous warmth of the mahogany wood. It no doubt will become a beautiful heirloom table to pass down.
