Description

SORRY THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD. This incredible piece of furniture has great history and rarity. It is one of 100 made by furniture company Berkey and Gay and features a hand carved eagle. The eagle is carved from the deck of the USS Constitution, the world’s oldest navel vessel ship. This ship was named by President George Washington and fought in the War of 1812. In 1929, “Old Ironsides” underwent a renovation by Berkey and Gay, who pulled some wood from the deck of the frigate and carved 100 of these eagles.

A metal badge on the interior of the table tells this great story. Our little table has been restored and is ready for your home. It is a great piece of Americana.
