Antique Wardrobe
This antique wardrobe is commonly called a “knock-down” wardrobe. This simply means that each wall, door and top crown are held in place with bolts and dowels. So, it can be easily dissassembled for moving. Certainly, this makes getting it to a second floor bedroom much easier as well.
The wardrobe features beautiful details. Firstly, it has a lovely bookmatched veneer on either side. Additionally, it has lovely ebonized trim and columns. These darker carved elements really allow the wood grain to pop.
Of course, this Walnut Wardrobe also has a gorgeous shaped beveled mirror in the door.
Finally, the wardrobe has a lovely crown with stick and ball style trim. (There may have been finials at one point on top of the crown, now sadly lost.)
Victorian Wardrobe
This Victorian Wardrobe has great storage. Of course, inside, there are adjustable shelves. Additionally, the bottom of the wardrobe has a lovely drawer with wooden dustcover.
Overall, this Victorian period wardrobe shows very well. It has minor imperfections here and there, due to age. Also, it is missing one small piece of corner trim on the interior of the left leg. Please see photos.
