Description
Beautiful antique Walnut Tall Chest with a truly stunning look. This period Pennsylvania Chest of drawers has such a lovely look for an historic or traditional home!
Antique Walnut Tall Chest
This antique Walnut Tall chest features a three over two over four design. Of course, it has absolutely stunning walnut wood across all of the drawers. This figure is especially striking on the top three drawers. Additionally, the tall chest has small fluted columns on either side, tall ogee bracket feet (which likely have been repaired over the years) and brass hardware.
Of course, the top moldings appear to be original, and the case has dovetailing on the top.
Pennsylvania Chest of Drawers
Likely, some repairs of this Pennsylvania Chest of Drawers were made over its nearly 200 years of life. We refinished the chest and attempted to bring the lovely walnut wood back to life. It has some signs of age, such as split boards on one side and some repairs to the drawer bottoms.
Additionally, two of the oval backplates were replaced on the bottom drawer. Please see photos.
