Antique Secretary Desk
This nice antique secretary desk has a lovely flame mahogany front, that decorates both the desk surface and the drawer fronts. It has wooden knobs on the drawers.
Inside the secretary desk, are lovely drawers and pigeon holes.
Empire Revival Desk
Although this desk has all of the details of an Empire period piece (circa 1820-1840s), we believe this desk is actually from the late 1800s. This period saw a resurgence of Empire designs. Certain construction details such as the finished panel back etc. give the impression of this later date.
We refinished this antique secretary desk. It does have some scratches and signs of age. Also, it looks as though it had some old repairs on the back leg.
