Antique Pennsylvania Chest of Drawers

Antique Pennsylvania chest of drawers with two drawers over four drawers. This lovely antique chest has incredible patina and warmth. The walnut wood has aged and mellowed beautifully. The chest has great character and beauty for a chest with over 200 years of life!

The old chest of drawers shows age and has some fixes. Three of the larger drawer bottoms have been shored up with new wood. (Please see photos.) The hardware, although the correct Hepplewhite Period style, looks to have been replaced. Most of the locks in the drawers no longer remain. And lastly, the feet, while original, show old repairs.

Overall, this chest of drawers can become a showpiece in the right setting.
