Antique Oak Desk
Of course, this antique oak desk has a very charming design. Firstly, it is a slant front desk, with a drop front desk surface. Additionally, the desk has a glass fronted cabinet at the base. Finally, it has a beveled mirror at the top and really pretty applied carving throughout.
Of course, the desk has some really pretty Art Nouveau style motifs… including the signature “whiplash” designs, found near the base. Also, the desk has beautiful quartersawn oak grain throughout the piece.
Art Nouveau Oak Slant Front Desk
We refinished this lovely Art Nouveau oak slant front desk in order to restore the beauty of the wood. It shows very well and is in great shape. It has a working key. However, the hardware does still have some patina.
