Certainly, this antique Federal sideboard has so many lovely details. The sideboard features a total of six drawers, perfect for storing silver, utensils or napkins and linens. Then it also has two large cabinet doors that hide one removable shelf.
Additionally, the cabinet sits on tapered legs and has a wooden backsplat as well.
Of course, the real charm of this antique buffet lies in its applied carvings on the drawer and cabinet door faces. The sideboard features lovely motifs depicting swags of leaves, ribbons and fabric. These motifs date to early Federal Style Furniture, and give the sideboard a classically feminine design.

We refinished this beautiful sideboard in order to restore the lovely mahogany wood. The sideboard is in great shape and includes a key that unlocks both cabinet doors.
