These antique Eastlake style chairs have a nice design. Of course, the frames feature walnut wood that has been delicately carved. The top of the chairs feature both floral and geometric motifs, a signature of Eastlake Victorian design. Additionally, the chairs have these repeated motifs on the apron of the chair. Finally, they have nicely turned legs, with the front legs sitting on the original porcelain castors.
The upholstery likely is not original. However, it is a nice woven fabric, probably from the 1960s or 1970s that mimics the Victorian floral motifs.
Overall, the chairs are in good shape and sit well. You may wish to reupholster them in a more contemporary fabric.
