Nice antique bookcase in rosewood. This lovely Victorian period two door bookcase is simple, yet commanding in its design!
Antique Bookcase
This antique bookcase comes apart in three pieces: the top crown, the center bookcase section with glass doors, and the two door base.
Inside the two glass doors, there are four adjustable shelves. These shelves can be adjustable with the side rounded pieces that fit inside the grooves. (Some are a little stubborn to fit, as there is a little variation to the sizes.)
We refinished this Victorian Bookcase so that its rosewood would look refreshed.
It shows well and is in good structural condition. However, I believe one of the panels of glass was replaced at some point. (All of the glass is wavy, but one piece looks a little newer and has a different glazing).
