Antique Dining Chairs
Of course, the antique dining chairs have a lovely design. They feature an elegant frame, with straight legs. Additionally, they have a lovely intertwining back-splat, with carved basket and floral design in the center of each chair back.
The carved basket and flowers are painted, and we were able to preserve the original colors.
Also, the chairs have a bit of a painted stripe accent in black on the arms and legs, which offsets the mahogany tones nicely.
Finally, we reupholstered the seats of the chairs with an equally colorful Cabbage Rose chintz.

Many know the Boston, Massachusetts company, Paine Furniture Company. Certainly, the company had a reputation for fine quality. We did a light refinish on the chairs, carefully preserving the colorful design. There are some light signs of age here and there to the chairs.
