Nice vintage mahogany poster bed in solid mahogany wood. This lovely full size bed has elegance, charm and shows very nice quality.
Vintage Mahogany Bed
This nice vintage mahogany bed has a beautiful design. The bed features nice tall posts with a reeded design. Additionally, it has a fairly simple headboard with sweeping curves. Finally, it has a low simple footboard. The finials do come off for moving.
Certainly, this bed has a nice tight fit, with four bolts in the corners that make it sturdy. (We have yet to cut wooden slats for the bed, which support a traditional box-spring and mattress.)
Poster Bed
We refinished this four poster bed in order to restore the beauty of the mahogany wood. It likely dates to the 1950s. The bed has thick side rails and nice substantial quality. It is unmarked. However, it certainly shows good quality.
