This gorgeous antique chest on chest has a beautiful design.
Of course, it features a traditional English design and warm figured wood finish. This handsome tall chest offers an impressive amount of storage while maintaining the refined proportions and classic appearance associated with Georgian furniture.
The chest features a two-part design, with the upper case fitted with two smaller drawers over three full-width drawers. The lower section provides an additional four spacious drawers. Each drawer is accented with traditional brass bail pulls and decorative backplates, which complement the rich color of the wood beautifully.
A substantial molded and dentil-style cornice gives the piece an architectural presence, while the restrained case design allows the beautiful grain of the wood to take center stage. The lower case rests on shaped bracket feet, completing its traditional Georgian appearance.
