Description

Beautiful and ornate antique buffet in traditional mahogany wood. This lovely mahogany sideboard has a beautiful design with so many pretty details.

Antique Buffet

This nice antique buffet sits on six spade foot legs. Of course, it has a lovely bowed or serpentine front shape, with drawers in the center and cabinet doors on either end.

Additionally, each cabinet features a removable shelf, making storage very adaptable and useful. Also, it has a lovely large silverware drawer in the second drawer.

Certainly, the sideboard has many pretty motifs on the top drawer, cabinet doors and legs. There are lovely Renaissance-style carvings on the top drawer, and more Federal style motifs on the cabinet doors.

Finally, the buffet has a pretty backsplash that finishes the piece.

This piece is marked Geiger and Braverman and was made in New York in circa 1910.

Mahogany Sideboard

We refinished this mahogany sideboard in order to restore the lovely mahogany wood. It has lovely brass hardware that is original to the piece.

The side cabinet doors are missing escutcheons, and please note that each side is keyed differently.
