Antique Inlaid Chest of Drawers
This tall antique Inlaid Chest of Drawers has so many pretty details. Firstly, each of the eight drawers has a warm, beautiful grain across the front, Additionally, it has nice line inlay outlining each drawer. The case of the chest shows mortise and tendon joinery.
Of course, it also has very pretty brass hardware, which is old and solid brass. However, it is not clear whether this hardware or the escutcheons are original, since there are no locks on the drawers.
Finally, the chest on chest sits on nice tall feet and a scalloped apron.
The chest on chest comes in two pieces. We refinished it in order to restore the beauty of the mahogany wood. It shows well and the drawers function well!
