Vintage Side Tables

Vintage side tables with tilting tops. Craftsmen tooled these reproduction side tables of solid mahogany. They have a simple design, but beautiful look.

Tilt Top Tables

Tilt top tables provide high style and practicality. For instance, they can be moved out of the way when not in use. The tops tilt upwards so that the tables take up virtually no room. In addition, they provide a nice surface for a lamp or cup of tea when pressed down.

This matching pair of vintage side tables have a great sized top. The 21 inch diameter makes them just large enough for a book and a lamp. Thus they are not too grand that they end up dwarfing the other pieces in the room. These tables have a very sleek design. For example, they have a tripod base with snake foot. While colonial in design, this allows them to also work quite nicely in more modern or traditional interiors.

Additionally, they have a simple beveled table top edge. Unlike other tilt top tables that might have a scalloped edge, these tables are simply beveled along the edge. This too makes them ideal for a more modern abode.

Finally, the vintage side tables are made of a nice heavy mahogany. We decided to refinish them so that they are in mint condition for your home. They retain a nice warm mahogany color and glow. Honestly, where can you find such a nice set of vintage side tables for your home? Considering the price and poor quality of modern furniture, these tilt top tables should certainly top your list.

These vintage side tables would be beautiful flanking a sofa. Alternatively, the tilt top tables could work between two facing sets of chairs. If you would really like only one, we do offer the vintage side tables at $599 each. Please give us a call to make arrangements to purchase just one.
