Beautiful, unique and truly fabulous antique Mediterranean cabinet in the walnut. It features a lively and vivid array of sea inspired carvings, including claw shells, sea serpents and figureheads or mast head style figures on the corners. The side of the upper cabinet doors also features what appears to be olives and rose swags running along the length of the piece. This piece becomes a stunner from all angles as the sides feature the same carved panels and beautiful intaglio style carvings on the upper piece.

This beautiful highly carved two piece cabinet has been fitted with beveled glass doors, allowing the piece to be a useful and grand display for china, glassware, silver or books. There are a total of three shelves (two are pictured) which are easily adjustable with wooden tooled shelf supports. It is in the original finish with a newly added protection of a satin lacquer, allowing the patina of the late 1800’s to be preserved for future generations.
