Description

Antique Mantel Clock

This is a beautiful antique mantel clock by famous Connecticut clock maker, Seth Thomas. The wood Seth Thomas clock has a beautiful adamantine marble-style detail, full celluloid columns and brass accents. It has a very flamboyant look and could be equally at home in a Victorian home or more subdued Federal classic.

Wood Seth Thomas Clock

The wood Seth Thomas clock mimics a marble case. Indeed, a wood Seth Thomas clock such as this offered Victorian customers a more affordable option. However, this clock does not lack any style! The antique mantel clock has very convincing faux marble accents made of adamantine. Additionally, the antique clock has columns and brass accents. It even has inscribed decorations in the wood. Truly it is a beautiful antique clock!

The interior works of this wood Seth Thomas Clock have been cleaned, oiled and serviced. Thus, it keeps very good time. It is an eight day clock. It rings on the half hour and strikes and counts the hours.
