Spanish Hutch

Beautiful, unique and truly fabulous Spanish hutch cabinet in walnut. The antique cabinet features a lively and vivid array of sea inspired carvings, including claw shells, sea serpents and figureheads or mast head style figures on the corners. This Spanish hutch is a stunner from all angles.

Antique Cabinet

The carving on this antique cabinet truly captivates. It has beautiful detail on the front cabinet faces. Also, the side of the upper cabinet doors features what appears to be olives and rose swags running along the length of the piece. Additionally, the sides feature the same carved panels and beautiful intaglio style carvings on the upper piece.

This beautiful highly carved two piece cabinet has been fitted with beveled glass doors. Indeed, this allows the piece to be a useful and grand display for china, glassware, silver or books. There are a total of three shelves (two are pictured) which are easily adjustable with wooden tooled shelf supports in the cabinet. I can envision this antique cabinet in any home with connection to the sea! It brings a very romantic and artistic feel to the room.

The Spanish hutch is in the original finish with a newly added protection of a satin lacquer, allowing the patina of the late 1800’s to be preserved for future generations. It is in excellent condition.
